Mr. Barber is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, School of Law, and Millsaps College, and has over 25 years experience offering legal advise to business and non-profit organizations.  John Paul Barber is licensed to practice in federal and state courts in Mississippi.  He devotes a substantial part of his time to corporate representation.

Mr. Barrero earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans. He passed the Mississippi Bar and is licensed to practice law in courts throughout Mississippi. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Mr. Barrero is passionate about helping the immigrant population he serves. 

Mr. Barrero is the son of Spanish immigrants and is fully bilingual in Spanish and English.  He excels at communicating with his Spanish-speaking clients in their own language.

Mr. Barrero concentrates his practice in the following areas:

  • Immigration Law,
  • Family Law,
  • Criminal Defense,
  • Personal Injury, and
  • Workers Compensation.

Mr. Barrero is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).  He has handled immigration cases involving Deportation Defense, Deferred Action ("Dream Acts") cases, Prosecutorial Discretion, Family Petitions, Waivers, Asylums and other aspects of immigration law.

Ms. Arias is a native of Peru, where she obtained her degree of Bachelor in Laws at The Catholic University of Peru.  In the United States, she earned a Masters in International Relations from San Francisco State University. She also obtained a Master in Law from the University of Texas Law School in Austin.
She derives her interest in Immigration Law from being an immigrant herself and having gone through all the legal steps from when she came as a foreign student to becoming an American citizen.  She also wrote her two theses for her masters’ degrees in topics related to immigration and foreign investment.

Ms. Arias has over 15 years of experience as assisting attorneys in the preparation of cases in immigration law.  Ms. Arias has worked helping attorneys in the preparation of:


  • Employment Visas, such as H2B to bring foreigners to work legally in the U.S.;
  • Investment Visas;
  • Professional Visas;
  • Family Petitions;
  • Fiancé Visas;
  • Citizenship Applications; and
  • Deportation Defense

Ms. Arias is a native speaker of Spanish, fully bilingual and offers translation services in courts.  Besides helping lawyers preparing cases, Ms. Arias manages the page of social media of the law office where attorneys transmit their expertise to offer information for the Hispanic community. This is a public service. 
Ms. Arias is a member of the Biloxi Chamber of Commerce and participates actively in this organization.
